Life Insurance Corporation of India invites On-line Applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment to the following posts of Assistant Administrative Officer. Candidates are requested to apply only On-Line between 22nd November, 2010 and 14th December, 2010 No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
  • Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalists): 250 Posts
    • Qualification: Bachelor/Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian University (under UGC) with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate in either of the Degrees which is relaxable to 45% in case of SC/ST candidates. If any University awards grades instead of marks, applicants should clearly mention the numerical equivalent of the grades in terms of aggregate marks and then write percentage scored out of aggregate marks.
    • Age: Minimum Age shall be 21 years (completed) as on 1st November, 2010. Maximum age shall be 30 years.
  • Assistant Administrative Officer (Chartered Accountant): 100 Posts
    • Qualification: An Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
    • Age: Minimum Age shall be 21 years (completed) as on 1st November, 2010. Maximum age shall be 30 years.
  • Assistant Administrative Officer ( Legal): 20 Posts
    • Qualification: A Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
    • Age: Minimum Age shall be 21 years (completed) as on 1st November, 2010. Maximum age shall be 30 years.
  • Assistant Administrative Officer (Company Secretary): 05 Posts
    • Qualification: LL.B. with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and minimum three years experience at the Bar.
    • Age: Minimum Age shall be 21 years (completed) as on 1st November, 2010. Maximum age shall be 30 years.
  • Emoluments and Benefits:
    • Basic pay of Rs 17240/- per month in the scale of Rs 17240-840(14)-29000-910(4)32640 and other admissible allowances as per rules. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs 27000/- in a city like Mumbai. Other benefits are Gratuity, Defined Contribution Pension, LTC, Medical Benefit, Group Savings Linked Insurance (GSLI), Group Term Insurance , Vehicle (2 wheeler/4 wheeler) Advance, etc as per rules of the Corporation. Staff Quarters/Leased Accommodations wherever available are generally provided on transfers subject to rules and regulations of the Corporation.

Approximately 734 Direct Sales Executives are proposed to be engaged by various Offices of the Corporation purely on Contract basis for 3 years under the jurisdiction of Western Zonal Office. The number of engagements may be changed during the selection process depending on the requirements of the office.
  • Western Zonal Office.: 734 Posts
  • Qualification:
    • Applicant shall possess the Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India established in India under a statute. Preference may be given to those applicants who possess the Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing /Management. Good working knowledge of English and also one Regional language preferably local language is desirable. Knowledge of soft skills such as Power Point / Word / Excel would be additional advantage.
  • Age:
    • The applicant shall have completed 21 years of age and not more than 35 years of age as on 01.11.2010 (cutoff date).
  • Remuneration:
    • Direct Sales Executives, on engagement will be paid monthly remuneration, which will be entirely performance based. The quantum is dependent on DSE’s achievement of specific business benchmarks and performance of assigned tasks to the satisfaction of Corporation.
